Individuals seeking drug and alcohol rehab near Greenacres can access multiple levels of care at Archstone, including medical detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient treatment (IOP), outpatient treatment, aftercare, and alumni support. This continuum allows care to adjust over time as each person progresses through treatment and develops greater independence.

If you are exploring treatment for yourself or helping a loved one find care, our admissions team can explain the available programs, answer your questions, and help identify an appropriate next step.

Comprehensive Addiction Treatment Options Near Greenacres, Florida

No two experiences with addiction are exactly alike. Factors such as the substance involved, frequency and duration of use, withdrawal risk, physical and mental health, previous treatment, living environment, and available support can all influence the type and intensity of treatment a person may need.

For this reason, Archstone Behavioral Health uses an individualized assessment to help guide treatment recommendations instead of placing every client into the same program.

Located near Greenacres in Palm Beach County, Archstone Behavioral Health has provided addiction treatment since 2001. Our programs address substance use while helping clients develop practical coping strategies, stronger support systems, and recovery skills they can continue using after structured treatment ends.

Our continuum of care includes:

The level of care recommended for you will depend on your assessment, current circumstances, and individual clinical needs.

Medical Detox Services Near Greenacres

For individuals who have developed a physical dependence on drugs or alcohol, medical detox may be the first stage of treatment.

Stopping alcohol, opioids, benzodiazepines, or certain other substances after physical dependence has developed can result in withdrawal symptoms. The severity of those symptoms varies, and some forms of withdrawal can present significant medical concerns.

Archstone’s medical detox program near Greenacres offers a supervised setting where individuals can be assessed and supported during withdrawal. Detox focuses on medical stabilization while helping prepare clients to continue into the next appropriate stage of addiction treatment.

While detox addresses the immediate effects of stopping substance use, it typically does not address the behavioral, emotional, or environmental issues that can contribute to addiction. When appropriate, clients can continue treatment through other levels of care available at Archstone.

Residential Addiction Treatment for the Greenacres Area

Archstone’s residential addiction treatment program near Greenacres offers a structured level of care for individuals who may benefit from intensive support during the earlier stages of recovery.

Clients in residential treatment live on campus while participating in therapy and recovery-oriented programming. Time away from familiar routines and environments can create an opportunity to focus more fully on treatment, recognize substance-use triggers, examine unhealthy patterns, and practice healthier responses to stress and challenging emotions.

Treatment is individualized and may incorporate individual therapy, group therapy, mental health services, trauma-informed care, relapse-prevention planning, peer support, and family involvement based on clinical needs.

When substance use occurs alongside mental health concerns, treatment can also address co-occurring conditions to provide a more integrated approach to recovery.

Structured Day Treatment Through PHP

Moving forward in recovery does not always mean immediately transitioning from residential treatment to traditional outpatient care. Some individuals continue to need substantial clinical structure even after 24-hour residential support is no longer necessary.

A partial hospitalization program (PHP) can help bridge the space between residential care and less intensive outpatient treatment.

PHP provides continued access to structured addiction treatment while allowing clients to begin developing more independence. Based on the individual’s treatment plan, programming may address therapy, relapse prevention, coping strategies, mental health, healthy routines, relationships, and preparation for continued recovery outside residential care.

Flexible Support Through Intensive Outpatient Treatment

Archstone’s intensive outpatient program (IOP) provides ongoing, structured addiction care while offering more flexibility than residential treatment or PHP.

IOP may serve as a step down for individuals progressing through the continuum of care. It may also be appropriate for people whose clinical needs can be addressed without 24-hour residential treatment.

As clients encounter responsibilities and challenges outside a residential environment, IOP can provide opportunities to reinforce coping skills and recovery strategies. The appropriate intensity and length of treatment varies according to clinical needs, progress, living situation, and the strength of an individual’s recovery support system.

Ongoing Outpatient Addiction Care Near Greenacres

Archstone also provides outpatient addiction treatment near Greenacres for individuals who benefit from continued clinical support at a lower treatment intensity.

Outpatient services can be particularly valuable as a later stage of the recovery process following detox, residential treatment, PHP, or IOP.

This level of care gives clients an opportunity to continue working on substance use and mental health concerns while practicing recovery skills in their everyday lives.

Recovery does not stop when a residential or intensive program ends. Continued outpatient care can offer therapeutic support and accountability while giving clients a place to work through new challenges as they occur.

Substance Use Disorders Addressed at Archstone

Archstone works with people experiencing alcohol-related problems as well as challenges involving a variety of drugs and other substances.

Treatment may be appropriate for individuals struggling with substances such as:

Determining an appropriate treatment approach involves more than identifying the substance being used. Physical health, mental health, potential withdrawal risks, previous treatment experiences, and other individual clinical considerations can all shape the treatment plan.

Co-Occurring Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Near Greenacres

Mental health and substance use concerns can be closely connected. Conditions and symptoms involving anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health challenges may contribute to substance use, occur alongside addiction, or create additional obstacles during recovery.

Archstone Behavioral Health offers dual diagnosis treatment for clients experiencing both substance use and mental health concerns.

By considering mental health and addiction together, clinicians can develop a more integrated treatment approach rather than addressing substance use in isolation. Depending on the client’s needs, care may involve psychiatric and psychological services, behavioral therapies, medication management, trauma-informed treatment, and additional therapeutic interventions.

Personalized Therapies Designed Around Each Client

Effective addiction treatment is not based on a single therapy or identical plan for every person.

At Archstone, treatment is tailored to the individual. Therapy can help clients examine the thoughts, behaviors, and circumstances connected to substance use while learning to identify triggers, regulate emotions, strengthen coping skills, and develop healthier strategies for maintaining recovery.

Depending on clinical needs, treatment may incorporate approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, individual counseling, group therapy, family therapy, and other evidence-based or clinically appropriate interventions.

Preparing for Life After Structured Treatment

Finishing a particular level of addiction treatment is a meaningful achievement, but maintaining recovery requires continued attention after formal programming is complete.

Archstone includes aftercare and discharge planning to help clients prepare for the transition from a highly structured treatment environment back into daily life.

Depending on individual needs, an aftercare plan may include recommendations or connections for ongoing therapy, outpatient treatment, peer support groups, relapse-prevention resources, sober living, mental health services, or other community resources.

Developing this plan in advance can help clients anticipate challenges, identify sources of continued support, and keep applying the skills they developed during treatment.

Continued Connection Through the Archstone Alumni Network

Supportive relationships can continue to play an important role well beyond a person’s time in formal addiction treatment.

Archstone maintains an active alumni community where former clients can stay connected with others who understand the recovery process. These relationships can provide another source of encouragement and community as individuals continue building their lives in recovery.

Archstone’s alumni community includes ongoing opportunities for connection, including meetings and alumni events.

For many former clients, maintaining these connections provides an additional source of recovery-focused community after completing formal treatment.

Title: Outstanding Care on the Fifth Floor! I had the privilege of experiencing the incredible care provided by the team on the fifth floor at Woodmont. The dedication and passion they show towards their patients are truly remarkable. From the nurses to Sebastian and Johe from the PT team, every member went above and beyond to ensure comfort and well-being. Their warmth and compassion made a world of difference during my time there. Thank you a million times, Woodmont fifth floor! Your exceptional service deserves all the applause!

Great place when you’re ready. Highly recommend to those who are. Danny, Patty, Sully and Devin are efficient and deliberate in preparing you for a new start.

Stay far away from this place. They do not care about your loved ones. They are all about money. Run as far away as you can. BEWARE!

Angela in admissions DOES NOT belong working in this field. Not only was she extremely rude and condescending, but she wouldn’t even let me speak and kept interrupting me. People calling in are looking for help and she was disgusting in the way she spoke to me. I truly hope corporate sees this and listens to her recorded calls. I’m telling everyone I know about the way she treated me and telling them to NEVER EVER come here.

This was an awesome meeting, I was so glad I could make it, heard an amazing share that touched everyone in the room, definitely looking forward to the next alumni meeting here!!!!!
