Christin Protesto MSN-Ed, RN
Director of Nursing
Christin is a registered nurse with 15 years of clinical experience working with individuals overcoming substance use disorders. She recently worked as a professor of nursing for a local state college. Christin earned a master’s degree in nursing education in 2017 and will graduate with a doctorate in nursing practice in 2020. She enjoys working in substance use because it is still poorly understood and is an emerging science.
Christin advocates to destigmatize substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health issues. She chose to work at Archstone because they offer treatment in a smaller intimate environment that allows our staff to focus on quality care rather than cycling through as many patients as possible. The patients at Archstone receive the attention they need as individuals to progress into their best version of themselves.

Daria Pankova
Director of Admissions
Daria Pankova is originally from Brooklyn, New York and serves as the director of admissions at Archstone Behavioral Health. She moved down to South Florida in 2013 and began working in the addiction field shortly after. Her determination to help struggling addicts and alcoholics started in alumni services, where she helped support her patients post-treatment. Daria moved on to the admissions field, and took pride in being the first contact, the voice that guides prospective patients through the hardest part of the journey of recovery–reaching out for help.
She eventually went on to manage a team of admissions specialists, and had helped place thousands of people in treatment. Today, Daria and her team ensure that each patient and their families feel as comfortable as possible as they embark on a new chapter of their lives. She oversees the entire admissions process and is involved in every case–from the very first phone call to the first day on our campus. Daria has had hands-on involvement with each and every client that has walked through our doors and is passionate about helping both patients and their families to recover from the effects of addiction. She works to help every patient get the help they deserve.
